Does muting reduce video quality?

No. Muting uses passthrough export — the video stream is copied without re-encoding. Quality is 100% preserved.

What audio formats are supported for extraction?

M4A (compressed, configurable bitrate from 128-320 kbps) and WAV (uncompressed, lossless).

What video formats are supported?

MOV and MP4 — the standard formats used by iPhone and most video cameras.

Where are my processed files saved?

You choose a save folder on first use. You can change it anytime in Settings. Files saved to your chosen folder are not deleted when the app is removed.

How many files can I process for free?

2 per day. Unlimited access and batch processing are available as a one-time purchase — no subscription required.

Does the app require an internet connection?

No. All processing happens on your device. No data is uploaded anywhere.

I trimmed a video in Photos. Will the app use the trimmed version?

Yes. The app respects edits made in the Photos app, including trims and crops.
